Know Before You Go

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

This year’s edition of the Test Instrumentation Workshop will support our need to be alert and aware of all technological developments that may have an impact on our test and evaluation operations. This workshop will discuss selected tenets of the various sensor instrumentation support to include the network, communications, and the massive resultant data. Plenary Discussions, tutorials and technical sessions will lead to a thorough and relevant discourse at this workshop and aid those in attendance, to prepare for the future. 

Please join us at the 2023 ITEA Test Instrumentation Workshop to share your experiences, lessons learned, and solutions to the problems we face in today’s constrained test and evaluation environments.

This workshop is hosted by the Antelope Valley Chapter located at the center of the Aerospace Testing Universe.

TECH PROGRAM

Presentations will be unclassified and open to the general T&E community, however, restricted sessions (up to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)) may be made available. Sessions and presentations are timed for the convenience of the attendee. Each session features presentations submitted by technical experts from the T&E arena.

Session topics will include:

  • Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
  • Cybersecurity
  • Digital Engineering (Digital Image Correlation, Digital Twins, etc.)
  • Electronic Warfare
  • GPS Denied
  • Hypersonics
  • Range Safety and Use of Autonomous Flight Termination
  • Spectrum Limitations

PRE-WORKSHOP TUTORIALS (SEPARATE REGISTRATION REQUIRED)

The following pre-workshop tutorials are being offered on Monday, May 22nd from 1-5pm, Tuesday, May 23rd from 8:00 – 12:00pm and from 8:00 – 5:00pm. Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits will be awarded for completion of the tutorials. A certificate of completion will be provided upon request. 

The fee to attend a tutorial is: One ½ day – $300, Two ½ days – $500, One full day $500,  or one full day &  ½ day -$700   

Registration for a tutorial does not require registration for the Conference.

ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS

The Workshop will contain some Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) presentations, which will limit participation to U.S. citizens who are employees of the U.S. Federal Government or its contractors (C), or employees of the Department of Defense or its contractors (D). DoD common access cards (CAC) or personal identity verification (PIV) will be required for entry. If you do not have a CAC/PIV please submit via DISS by 15 May 2023.

SUBSTITUTION AND CANCELLATION POLICY: Substitutions are permitted. Refunds are not available within ten (10) days prior to the start of the event. Requests for cancellation submitted between ten (10) to 45 days prior to start date of the event will be subject to a $250 cancellation fee. Requests for cancellation greater than 45 days prior to the start date of the event will be subject to a $100 cancellation fee.

Each of the 4-hour Pre-Workshop Tutorials provide 4 contact hours of instruction (4 CPEs) that are directly applicable to your professional development program, including the Certified Test and Evaluation Professional Credential (CTEP).

In addition to the Pre-Workshop Tutorials, the Workshop provides 4 contact hours of instruction (4 CPEs) for each half-day, 8 contact hours of instruction (8 CPEs) for each full-day, or 20 contact hours of instruction (20 CPEs) for attending the full Workshop, that are directly applicable to your professional development program, including the Certified Test and Evaluation Professional Credential (CTEP).
